Nurturing the Prayer Life of Our Parish

guiding our journey, season by season

The Worship Commission at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish serves as a guiding force in our ongoing liturgical renewal, nurturing a parish life rooted in the Eucharist and shaped by communal prayer. This commission envisions, coordinates, and evaluates the worship, liturgical, and spiritual rhythms of our parish, ensuring they remain vibrant, inclusive, and deeply reverent.

Its responsibilities include:

Welcoming and training liturgical ministers

Preparing and planning all liturgical celebrations

Designing and hosting seasonal prayer services, evenings of reflection, and cherished annual events such as Advent by Candlelight

Creating worship environments that reflect the beauty and meaning of each liturgical season

Fostering ecumenical relationships by serving as a liaison with other Christian and non-Christian faith communities

Barbara Urbiel currently serves as chairperson, offering thoughtful leadership and insight to this vital ministry.

Inviting All into the Heart of Worship

Our Worship Commission nurtures the heart of our parish life—rooted in the Eucharist, shaped by communal prayer, and alive in every season. From training liturgical ministers to preparing sacred spaces and hosting reflective gatherings, this ministry ensures our worship remains vibrant, inclusive, and deeply reverent. It also fosters ecumenical relationships, extending hospitality and dialogue beyond our parish walls.
